All our products are handcrafted from start to finish so we know exactly which ingredients and how much of each is used. All of our creations are 100% original; we hand paint all our bath bomb creations with bath & body safe micas, lakes, and dyes. We use pure, high quality, cruelty-free ingredients, certified organic butters, and certified organic therapeutic grade essential oils. We hand make everything in small batches so we can provide a quality artisan product we know our customers will love! 

Our packaging is made from 100% REAL bamboo wood. Bamboo is incredibly eco-friendly and requires no more water than what nature provides. It grows ten times faster than regular trees and has no natural pests, including termites. Bamboo is naturally antibacterial and antifungal, which means there is no need for pesticides or herbicides that can cause harm to the environment.

Some of our jar bases are made from PET (polyethylene terephthalate), a biologically inert material that is resistant to attack by microorganisms. PET is a remarkably energy-efficient material. Its strength, versatility, and recyclability allows for an excellent sustainability profile.

We also use Biolefin™ 2.0, a custom-formulated oxo-biodegradeable polyolefin shrink film.

I am a dog mom of 7, an International Federation of BodyBuilding (IFBB) Professional Athlete, Outdoor Adventurer, DIY-er, and bath & body junkie.

Growing up, I LOVED arts & crafts. My mother would take my sister and I to hobby shops to stock up on summer arts & crafts projects. I spent the summers making anything and everything; from molding my own soap to hand painting doll furniture. I was particularly intrigued with the scented crafts, especially the body lotion kits. As I grew, so did my obsession. However, my time for crafts was limited while I was pursuing my graduate degree and working full-time. I started stocking up on the products I wished I had time to make myself. For every birthday I would ask for more bath & body products (as if I didn't already have enough!) It wasn't long before I had cabinets FULL of lotions, body scrubs, bath bombs, and candles. Ask my husband, you would think I was running a bath & body shop out of my master bathroom...

I wanted to create bath & body products that are healthier for my skin, align with my personal values, and fill the crafty void I missed so much. In May 2019, we started our business with the intent of mainly making lotions and body creams. It wasn't long before I got my hands on some bath bomb molds, which drastically evolved our product offering (and branding!). 

And that is how Desert Bath Co. was born.
